If it's how to throw on a wheel, it will take some significant time to learn all of the techniques and subtleties of throwing a good pot. If you want to make beads that you can cook in an oven, the learning curve may be a bit shorter.

Not to say that beads are easy, they can be very intricate, especially in the decoration of them. The tiny detail is particularly fun and can be quite the winner with fans in you've put their logos and emblems all over the tiny little things.
